The WRRSI program's goal is to
increase math, science, and technology literacy on the Wind
River Indian Reservation in central Wyoming.
The National
Science Foundation funds this project.
The WRMSP has very similar goals to the WRRSI. The
grant is funded by the Wyoming
Department of Education , Title II B program.
Both programs are hosted by Fort Washakie School and
partner with four other districts also located on the Reservation.
The Summer 2007 Native Ways of Knowing camp has been
cancelled due to lack of funding. We are in the process of
seeking alternate funding to continue on with the NWOK project.
Updates will be posted on this website. Please contact
Katie Logan or Gene
Meier for additional information or questions.
